Las Vegas Accident Attorneys
Joe Huggins, Partner
Joe Huggins is an accomplished Las Vegas accidents attorney with 35 years of litigation experience. He is a founder and partner of Huggins & Maxwell, Attorneys at Law. Previously, Mr. Huggins was Managing Director at Huggins & Associates, LLP.
Mr. Huggins completed his undergraduate studies at Weber State University in 1978, earning a foreign language Bachelor of Arts degree with a Minor in political science. Directly after graduation, Mr. Huggins enrolled in the University of Utah’s S.J. Quinney College of Law, from which he graduated in 1982 with a Juris Doctor degree. Mr. Huggins was admitted to the Nevada and Utah State Bars shortly thereafter.
Since beginning his professional practice in 1982, Mr. Huggins has established himself as both an exceptional trial attorney and trusted counselor. Clients have remarked in the past how his legal representation has helped resolve ancillary matters in addition to the legal issues for which he was hired. In truth it is merely a reflection of Mr. Huggins’ approach to the practice of law—to serve clients with the thoughtfulness and compassion they deserve.
The core of Mr. Huggins’ professional practice is personal injury litigation, which includes medical malpractice, wrongful death, and products liability. His history of proven results as a Las Vegas accidents attorney is unmistakable. But Mr. Huggins is an equally talented settlement negotiator as he is a trial attorney. He has negotiated multi-million dollar out of court settlements and won substantial verdicts. He has also won appeals at the Nevada Supreme Court.
In addition to his success as a Las Vegas accidents attorney, Mr. Huggins is an established real estate, business, and commercial law trial lawyer and appellate advocate. He has been a panel attorney in federal court under the Criminal Justice Act for over 20 years and has tried many high profile criminal cases to juries, where clients were exonerated.
Mr. Huggins is involved in a number of professional organizations including the Clark County Bar Association, American Bar Association, and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
