Las Vegas Accident Attorneys
Kristine Maxwell, Partner
Kristine Maxwell is a trusted Las Vegas accident attorney with 15 years of litigation experience. She is a partner at Huggins & Maxwell, Attorneys at Law. Prior to her legal career, Ms. Maxwell spent more than ten years with the Utah Attorney General’s Office operating at the highest levels of law and politics. When she is not practicing law today, Ms. Maxwell remains clued in on local community and statewide government affairs, interests doubtlessly held over from her earlier career in the public sector.
Ms. Maxwell earned her Juris Doctor degree in 2000 from Brigham Young University’s J. Reuben Clark Law School in Provo, Utah. She was admitted to the Utah State Bar later that same year. In 2006, Ms. Maxwell was also admitted to the Nevada State Bar.
In the 12 years since beginning her professional practice, Ms. Maxwell has established herself as a proven trial attorney with a history of demonstrated success. Her leadership has helped many clients throughout Las Vegas and parts of Utah prevail in their legal matters. Her biggest accomplishment though may be her unwavering commitment to client care. Ms. Maxwell makes a deliberate effort to provide clients with the personalized attention and accommodation they deserve. Many past clients have remarked on how considerate she was of their needs, a quality that differentiates Ms. Maxwell from other Las Vegas accident attorneys.
Ms. Maxwell’s primary practice area is Las Vegas personal injury litigation, including medical malpractice, wrongful death, and products liability. She has represented both plaintiffs and doctors and other medical professionals in medical malpractice cases, a feature that distinguishes her from other Las Vegas accident attorneys. Having been on both sides of the dispute, Ms. Maxwell is well versed in the details of medical malpractice litigation and settlement negotiation.
Aside from her personal injury trial practice, Ms. Maxwell is also an accomplished real estate attorney. She has negotiated and handled multiple commercial and residential real estate transactions throughout her 12 years of practice. One such transaction overseen by Ms. Maxwell involved a high stakes real estate purchase in a Bureau of Land Management auction. The property was bought with Ms. Maxwell’s assistance for $23,000,000.
